Hana Alicic started studying Lotus Self-Defense under Roy Harrington in Spokane, Washington.  Hana came to Spokane from Bosnia at age two, started in the Lotus youth group when she was in the fifth grade.  She tested for and received her black belt on September 14, 2010.

Hana is also a highly accomplished flute player, having received the Adjudicator's Choice Award at the  2010 MusicFest Northwest. Having graduated as one of the class valedictorians at Lewis and Clark High School, she is currently a freshman at the Honors College at University of Washington studying neurobiology.
