Dr. Michael Weeks began studying Lotus under Mack Petry in Lafayette, Louisiana in 1995.  Michael graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Doctorate in Computer Science.  Before transferring to Atlanta, Georgia to teach at Georgia State University, Michael received his black belt on December 26, 1998, making him Mack Petry's 9th student to reach black belt.
