Tim Morris, who goes by TR,
started Lotus in Spokane at the age of 10 and worked clear through until
getting his Black Belt at age 19. TR likes to be remembered for leading
especially grueling workouts and for his awesome "forehead block" (don't try
this at home).
TR graduated from Western Washington
University in Bellingham, Washington in 1993 with a degree in Environmental Science.
After graduating, he worked as an environmental educator for the
Adopt-a-Stream Foundation and as a wildlife surveyor for the US Forest
Service in Washington State. TR is currently enrolled as a Naturopathic
Medicine Student at Bastyr University in Seattle. TR taught Lotus in Bothell
for a short time until medical school took precedence. He hopes to teach
again after finishing medical school.
