This picture shows Neo El (2nd degree black belt) in the process of throwing a roundhouse kick to a target, which is simulating a head strike.

This picture shows LOTUS students stretching at the beginning of their workout.  Stretching is important to warm the muscles before strenuous kicking.

This picture shows two of Ajarn Jack Gentry's students celebrating their victory at a martial arts tournament.  LOTUS was not originally designed for tournament competition since it is strictly a self-defense art, but LOTUS can be modified for friendly competition, as seen here.
