I have heard this
question raised by countless martial arts instructors, students, and
bystanders. There are 10 katas in LOTUS. Are they worth practicing. I hope to answer this question through simple and proven examples
that would be hard to differ with.

LOTUS prides itself on the motto of Body, Mind, and
Spirit. I hope you will find my

WHO IS A BLACK BELT AND WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
I have been
asked many times, "How long of studying will it take before I can be dangerous?"
I have also seen many students start studying martial arts to get the famous
black belt. I hope to further address who earns the black belt and what it
means.

The bow is
